It’s definitely an interesting topic Armand.

I feel increasingly drawn to the notion that ‘reality’ is desperate to communicate with us!

I sometimes even get the feeling that reality is in fact a part of us; The part that we cannot assimilate into ourselves.

We are split into two parts that are in dialogue; A dialogue we think of as ‘living our life’.

In our present state, it is quite a rudimentary conversation. Reality is a toddler’s picture book; But with ‘three dimensional’ pictures, events and scenarios.

It is slow work, grinding away over the aeons, because we do not realise that something is being ‘said’ to us and have even less an idea of how to respond.

The divinatory practices you discuss become, in this context, just more refined communication methods to enhance the dialogue.

‘Reality’ mutters to itself, “Thank goodness! Now at least you can start formulating real questions and I can give a reasonable answer rather than having to carve it into your very being throughout a lifetime!”

So then, divination becomes less about ‘telling the future’; but rather, “You need to know this. I can either tell you about it or I can do it to you in glorious technicolour!”
