It is the interplay between our fragmented, separated consciousness and the consciousness at large.
Reality is a mirroring, reciprocal process; A communication and conversation.
This mirrored reflection, returning to our fragmented self, strives to ensure a consistent experience. It conforms to our expectations.
It must do this to ensure a continuation of the conversation.
The ‘new and novel’, have to be introduced gradually and incrementally. It has to be credible to our expectation or the spell will be broken.
As the influx of novelty increases, the ‘mirroring enchantment’ becomes more fragile. An exponential increase in communication between the separated fragments brings to light inconsistencies, unexpected happenings and the paradoxical.
As novelty floods the system, the dream like, mutable nature of the process becomes more apparent.
Rejection of the dream becomes part of the waking process.
