Yes, its definitely all an interesting business. I do enjoy trying to pin these things down a little, but obviously ‘it’ flat out refuses to be captured. Its fun though, to persist, in the hope of catching a flavour or nuance.

I envisage the so called ‘karmic’ process as being overseen by that part of ourselves that we have no knowledge of. It is not an external blind force, but more a set of starting conditions, choices and events, chosen by the ‘other’ part of self, as a ‘hit or miss’ attempt to chisel and mold a suitable vessel of experience. To us, all of this is hidden behind the veil; It is a dark mystery to the unconnected ego.

I usually seem to fall back on the dream analogy when trying to make sense of things. It certainly feels as though the ‘web of activity’ our ego’s have woven here, has something of the dream about it. ‘Waking up’ equates to making contact with the dreamer of the dream. Abracadabra, ‘that dreamer’ opens its eyes and it turns out to be us also!

Can the dreamer be held accountable for the dream? The actions and events within it are just an unconscious working out, in narrative form, of the sleepers inner proclivities and hidden drives; Just as the disconnected ego is similarly bounced from pillar to post, in our world, not knowing why or how.

Yeah. The internet is definitely not the most reliable of sources. Discernment is the key though. For every rose, you’ve got to wade through a field full of manure!

As you say, it’s certainly all a fine adventure. Keep up the good work.
